Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead, grow and develop a team of software engineers working on products for Electric Drives.
- Coordinate the team tasks within the international agile product team and external collaborations.
- Contribute to software design, architecture, implementation and testing in the allocated to the group project(s).
- Provide technical leadership to the team members.
- Represent the team during collaboration with other cross-functional teams.
- Support the performance goals definition, their monitoring and execution.
- Drives the assessment of opportunities for SW application and process improvements.
- Supports the recruitment process in the organization.
Education and qualifications:
- University in the field of computer science or electrical engineering or comparable qualification.
- Fluent written and spoken English (C1 level).
Professional competences and experience:
- Experience in leading an embedded software development team.
- Several years of professional experience in the field of firmware development for 32-bit microcontrollers and in object-oriented programming C++.
- Very good knowledge of general software engineering concepts e.g. design patterns, algorithms and data structures.
- User knowledge of requirement management and revision management tools.
- High degree of organizational skills, decision-making and ability to work on one's own initiative.
- Agile project management capabilities, able to prioritize the tasks, based on importance, dependencies, available prerequisites and defined time-frame.
- Capable to delegate tasks efficiently and empower group members for their accomplishment.
- Able to inspire group members on striving for continuous professional and personal development.
- Excellent presentation (capable of conducting powerful presentations) and communication skills.
- Application experience in the field of electrical drive technology is considered a plus.
